Pigeon mycoplasma is a microorganism that can infect pigeons. It belongs to the genus Mycoplasma, has diverse morphologies, and its size is between that of bacteria and viruses.

This pathogen mainly attacks the respiratory and reproductive systems of pigeons. When there is a respiratory tract infection, pigeons may exhibit symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, and respiratory rales, which seriously affect their respiratory function. The damage to the reproductive system will lead to a decline in the reproductive ability of pigeons, such as a decrease in the egg - laying rate and a deterioration in the quality of eggs.

Clinical Application:

· Rapid and Accurate Diagnosis of Infection:
After pigeons are infected with mycoplasma, their clinical symptoms may be similar to those of other respiratory diseases, making it difficult to accurately determine the condition just by symptoms. Nucleic acid detection reagents can directly detect whether mycoplasma nucleic acid exists in pigeons. They have high specificity and sensitivity and can detect the pathogen in the early stage of infection, enabling rapid and accurate diagnosis and helping to detect the disease in a timely manner.

· Differentiating Different Mycoplasma Infections:
Pigeons may be infected with multiple types of mycoplasma, and the treatment methods and prognoses for different mycoplasmas may vary. Nucleic acid detection reagents can design primers and probes for specific pigeon mycoplasmas to accurately distinguish between different types of mycoplasma infections, providing a basis for precise treatment.

Revolutionizing Canine Leptospirosis Detection with PCR
In the realm of veterinary medicine, few diseases demand as much attention as leptospirosis—a zoonotic bacterial infection that poses a significant threat to both dogs and humans. Endemic worldwide, this disease is transmitted through contact with urine-contaminated water or soil, often leading to severe kidney and liver damage, pulmonary hemorrhage, and even death. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical for effective treatment and preventing transmission. However, traditional diagnostic methods have long posed challenges—until now.
