Rabies virus (RABV) Nucleic Acid Test Kit (Lyophilized)

Bartonella henselae test kit is a PCR nucleic acid detection reagent kit used to detect Rabies virus (RABV). Real-time PCR technology has the characteristics of fast, sensitive, highly specific, and high accuracy. Utilizing this technology and the FLASHTEST PCR reagent kit can accurately diagnose whether kittens carry Rabies virus (RABV).

The rabies virus is an RNA virus belonging to the genus Lyssavirus of the family Rhabdoviridae. It is mainly transmitted to humans or other animals through the bites of infected animals. After infection, it invades the central nervous system. In the initial stage, symptoms such as low - grade fever and fatigue may occur, followed by typical symptoms like hydrophobia and anemophobia. Once the disease breaks out, the mortality rate is almost 100%. Timely vaccination can effectively prevent it.

In terms of pets:

Screening of asymptomatic infected pets: Some pets infected with the rabies virus may not show obvious clinical symptoms during the incubation period, but they are still infectious. For pets that may have been exposed to the rabies virus environment (such as being bitten by a suspected infected animal or coming into contact with the secretions of an infected animal), regular screening using nucleic acid detection reagents can help detect asymptomatic infected pets at an early stage. These pets can then be isolated and dealt with promptly to prevent the virus from spreading to other animals or humans.

In terms of humans:

Rapid detection after being bitten by a pet: When a person is bitten or scratched by a pet suspected of being infected with the rabies virus, timely nucleic acid testing can quickly determine whether the person is infected with the virus. Compared with the traditional method of observing the animal for 10 days, nucleic acid testing can yield results in a much shorter time, thus buying precious time for the patient's treatment. If the test result is positive, the patient can immediately receive treatment measures such as rabies immunoglobulin injection and vaccination to improve the survival rate.

Revolutionizing Canine Leptospirosis Detection with PCR
In the realm of veterinary medicine, few diseases demand as much attention as leptospirosis—a zoonotic bacterial infection that poses a significant threat to both dogs and humans. Endemic worldwide, this disease is transmitted through contact with urine-contaminated water or soil, often leading to severe kidney and liver damage, pulmonary hemorrhage, and even death. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical for effective treatment and preventing transmission. However, traditional diagnostic methods have long posed challenges—until now.
