Bartonella henselae (B. henselae) Nucleic Acid Test Kit (Lyophilized)

Bartonella henselae test kit is a PCR nucleic acid detection reagent kit used to detect Bartonella henselae (B. henselae). Real-time PCR technology has the characteristics of fast, sensitive, highly specific, and high accuracy. Utilizing this technology and the FLASHTEST PCR reagent kit can accurately diagnose whether kittens carry Bartonella henselae (B. henselae).

Bartonella henselae disease is mainly caused by infection with Bartonella henselae. It is often transmitted to humans through cat scratches or bites, with cats being the primary hosts. Patients often develop local skin lesions, such as erythema and papules, which can then be accompanied by symptoms like fever and swollen lymph nodes.

Harm to pets:

Infection with Bartonella henselae is relatively common in pets such as cats. However, many infected pets may not show obvious symptoms and become potential sources of infection. Nucleic acid detection reagents can accurately detect the nucleic acid of Bartonella henselae in pet blood or tissue samples, thus detecting the infection in the early asymptomatic stage. For example, in some catteries or multi - cat households, even if the cats appear healthy, regular screening with this nucleic acid detection reagent can timely identify cats with latent infections.

Harm to Humans:

After being scratched or bitten by a pet infected with Bartonella henselae, humans may experience symptoms such as local skin damage, fever, and swollen lymph nodes. Nucleic acid detection reagents can quickly and accurately detect whether the nucleic acid of Bartonella henselae is present in human samples (such as blood, lymph node puncture fluid, etc.), enabling early diagnosis of the disease. For instance, if a patient develops unexplained fever and local lymph node enlargement within a few weeks after being scratched or bitten by a cat, nucleic acid testing can timely determine whether it is an infection with Bartonella henselae.

Revolutionizing Canine Leptospirosis Detection with PCR
In the realm of veterinary medicine, few diseases demand as much attention as leptospirosis—a zoonotic bacterial infection that poses a significant threat to both dogs and humans. Endemic worldwide, this disease is transmitted through contact with urine-contaminated water or soil, often leading to severe kidney and liver damage, pulmonary hemorrhage, and even death. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical for effective treatment and preventing transmission. However, traditional diagnostic methods have long posed challenges—until now.
